Is it possible to share your karma with someone? 

YES.

Can someone else share theirs with you?

YES.

Welcome to the plane of human connection! No matter how introverted some of us may be, we all must understand that human beings are tribal beings. We share connection through communication, blood, as well as (but not limited to) a contracted companionship. We share ourselves on a deeper bond than the naked eye can entrust. But the spirit of being knows what is happening and why.

PSA: We Share Karma

Sharing karma is more common than you realize. It can good, bad, or neutral. It can shed light or dim it. Nonetheless this universal force is shared in many ways:

The most common form of sharing someone’s karma is through blood. Yes, in some cases blood is truly thicker than water. To share the karma of your ancestors means to take on traits, skills, burdens, and unfulfilled business that the members before you left behind, either willingly or unwillingly. 

Did they run from themselves or their problems? Did they make a deal or a pact or a promise that was never fulfilled? Do they have a keen skill, developed and perfected so well, that neither they nor fate could allow this practice to end at their own hands- even if their own children did not want to learn these skills? 

The bloodline karma is more of an innate consequence for someone born into the family. It can be portrayed through a disease (mentally, emotionally, or physically) that is passed down from generation to generation. On a more positive note, it can be a habit or a gift, if you will, that someone does so naturally without anyone teaching them. There exists knowledge of other family members capable of doing the same thing. Most often, these family members are no longer alive. These phenomena are not coincidences. Energy always has a way of cycling itself until someone decides that cycle must come to an end. 

You can share your karma with someone you are intimate with. Allow me to first explain your energetic connection manifested physically. The most common one is found in sexual energy. Sexual energy is so powerful and manifesting that it creates life, making transferable energy from one plane to another. Sexual energy is so potent that it has been used to channel, enlighten, and manifest through tantric means. When you and another person share sexual energy, you are to some extent tapping into raw divine energy at the base of your chakra system. That connects you to the karmic energy that may belong to you, your experiences, and/or your ancestors. 

You can take on someone’s behavior patterns or their insecurities. You may find that you two were thinking the same thing at times. The more often you are intimate with them, you either become more aligned with them… or less. Sharing your karmic energy brings you closer, or much further from one another. Are you beginning to see your partner for who they are, rather than who you thought they were? Do you feel their protection or essence wherever you go? Do you feel the weight of their demons? 

Energy healers, psychics, mediums, shamans, and practitioners of all sorts that aim to work with, and heal other people are, too, susceptible to taking on someone else’s karmic energy. One of my greatest mentors once told me the burden of the shaman consists of being crippled over time, because one may take on so much for trying to heal so many. 

As I learned more about spirit and the ways of healers, I understood that most beings altruistically martyr themselves one way or another to raise the world in a new light. How, you may ask? When one comes to you to heal you, they take a hold of the energies, the karmas that hold you down, and free you from it. They then replace that now empty space with something grander. But what happens with the energy they took out? One HAS to get rid of it. Sometimes in the process, the healer themselves may take on some of that karma; or the karma replaces itself for another karma that hinders the healer, depending on who or what they utilize for aid in healing their patient. Healing after all, is not a one man job. There are so many faces to the multi-faceted world of hurt, pain, and burden. Healers, nurses, firefighters, social workers, servers, and the lot should all know that the helping industry does not pay as much as it should. 

And it should not have come this way…

You no longer have to sacrifice any part of you, to bring out the betterment of this universe. You are all so powerful that you can make the rules yourself. Do not allow another being to tell you how things should be. Even spirit itself has feelings, based on experience, reaction, and response to these events.  

Healers, this is your light: Create the cycle of healing you want, without taking YOU apart.
